RFMFS offers a stimulating, progressive, and results-oriented program to promote and enhance artistic development in the community.

The vision of Robyn’s Family Music Fun Studio (RFMFS) is for all students to ultimately have access to affordable and quality musical training.  The RFMFS objective is to enrich community culture by contributing artistic opportunities, along with potential employment for musicians, mentors, and talented youth interns.

Class Descriptions:

  • Toddlers (2 & 3 year olds): 30 minutes per week , singing, dance, movement and sound exploration hand-eye coordination development parent/care-giver participation
  • Pre-K to Fifth Grade): 50-minute class per week 3 to 4-year comprehensive keyboard and aural development standard elementary piano repertoire music history, theory and composition parent/care-giver participation                        
  • Teens/Adults:  50-minute class per week (1/2 hour individual) 2-year program graduate with standard piano repertoire and fundamental music skills advanced         
  • Private Piano/Voice: 45-minute class students with prior piano background.

At least two recitals will be given each year.  Thanksgiving, Christmas and holiday breaks will be given according to Public School scheduling.  Summer Music Camp is offered based on demand. Other instrumental instruction, besides piano and voice, are offered by request.


STUDIO POLICIES & PROCEDURES 
  • Parents/students must arrive for classes on time, or reschedule at the convenience of the teacher
  • Parents must pick up students on time, at the conclusion of the scheduled class
  • No eating or drinking of beverages except in designated areas
  • Students/parents must come prepared with books, carrying case & homework
  • Parents are to ensure that students complete homework every week
  • No more than (3) lessons can be missed, or student will have to withdraw and register for the next class the following year
  • Respect must be shown for premises and facility
  • Parents/students cannot converse during class time
  • Please call the teacher after teaching hours if there are some concerns/issues needing to be discussed regarding the student
  • Fees are due at the beginning of the month before class starts
  • Classes will be cancelled if inclement weather –teacher will call and e-mail students/parents
  • Registration Fees must be paid prior to first class
  • Classes cancelled by teacher will be made-up or pro-rated at teacher’s discretion
  • No refunds if students miss class
